Love this- update: wont wont on ios 11

The best app ever. Using it for 2 years now. Update: please upgrade to ois 11

PLEASE UPDATE FOR iOS 11!

This is a fantastic calculator app and always has been. But it has been too long without an update...and now it has found its head on the chopping block! Yes, if it is not updated, we will lose this app once iOS 11 is released. Please don't leave us loyal users in the dirt - update this magnificent app!

Great app needs an update

This was such a great simple app. Can you please update it??

Best graphing calculator for iOS

I used this app throughout college and it worked great for all my engineering classes. It would be great if it got updated for 64-bit, because no other calculator app even compares to this one. Side note: I asked my professor if I could use this app on my Aircraft Design exam since my TI calculator broke. She said yes, but I had to put it in airplane mode. Get it? "Airplane" mode.

R. I. P.

This is been an amazing app for a long time. It's the best graphing calculator app I've ever seen. It's just too bad that the last update was in 2012.

Errors

I'm experiencing a problem saving an equation then pressing "graph". I only have one equation entered and I turn it "on" and all others (blank) off so I can then graph it. When I press graph I get a message that all equations are "off"...when I go back to the equations list, the one I want is suddenly "off " and all others have gotten turned "on" (not by me). I tried to delete the app and redownload from the cloud. Same problem. Is it due to iPhone operating system upgrades? Developer doesn't seem to have worked on this program since 2012. Looking for another graph calc....

New Glitches

Since the update to iOS 10, this app has been a glitchy when it comes to toggling graphs of functions on and off. I love this app so much and I am disappointed that it is yet to be updated.

Time for an update

Ive been using this calculator for years and now it's decided that I can't have any of my functions placed in the graph it has them permanently turned off.

Great, Simple Graphing Caclulator

I have had this all the way back since my iPhone 3G. It works great and it was free when I got it (I don't know about now). But it does 95% of what you'd want a graphing calculator to do for you. For the price, that makes it an outstanding 5 star value. However, it is missing some things like an exact trace function and ability to write programs. But hey, can't complain for the value.

Easy to use. Best graphing calculator out there.

Easy to graph as well as very handy calculator. My favorite.

Good

No longer laggy since iphone update 4/12/15

You people...

Stop giving this app bad reviews because you don't understand what an asymptote is. The app isn't glitching...try looking up the definition of an asymptote and then you'll feel pretty foolish for giving this app a bad review for not reading the negative x values for y=x^(1/2), y=x^(1/9) etc. The app works fine you are just using it wrong.

Great app, very handy

Love this app. Very impressed that it does polar graphing. I found this helpful when I had to teach polar curves after not messing with them for almost 10 years. Just played with it while waiting in the doctor's office or whatever. Great!

Love it!

This is an awesome graphing calculator! Simplistic, beautiful graphs, can graph multiple lines, zoom in easily, and see the table of values as well! A must have addition to your calculator collection. One improvement would be to add the ability to generate the equation from a series of known points. Keep up the good work!

Really helpful

I often have to do things using lots of the options in functions and this is great

Great Calculator

The current version has cleaned up a lot of bugs and fixed the reset grid button to return a square grid. The is a powerful yet intuitive app.

ERROR in app

Input 2pi(x) there are no results, please fix

App

Great app!!!!!!! Period worth the money

Student

This app has been a godsend in helping me get through my college algebra class. In fact, it was mentioned in my textbook and that's why I bought it. It sure beats buying an expensive graphing calculator like I did back in high school, and it functions just as well. I highly recommend this app.

Great App but NEEDS CALCULUS

This app is absolutely wonderful and I use it almost every day on all of my iOS devices, however it NEEDS Calculus functions. I'm a Mechanical Engineering major in college starting this Fall and the ability to graph derivatives, integrals, and possibly even vector/slope fields would be much appreciated.

Graphing Calculator

Love this app so user friendly easy to use effective! I'd rate it 10 stars if I could!!!! Makes my algebra homework so easy!!!!👍😄

Good

Used for a good while for free jailbroken, really helped me, definitely worth buying.

Good but....

You should be able to pick how to scale the x-axis. For example, it would help if it could be in pi units for cosine and since graphs

LOVE

It is do awesome!!!! Best app ever!

Good, but graphs are sometimes buggy

I generally like this app quite a bit. Most of the time, it's excellent for graphing an equation. Unfortunately, sometimes it demonstrates significant bugs when graphing the equation. For example, if it doesn't understand the equation, it will just draw a straight line -- rather than telling you that it can't interpret the equation. As another example, sometimes it draws graphs that are simply wrong. For example, with the equation "y = (1 + x)^(1/9)", it fails to display half of the equation -- the portion to the left of negative one. Problems like this mean that you can't entirely trust the results of the graphed equations. I've attempted to report some of these bugs to the developer using the provided email address. Unfortunately, he hasn't responded.

Wonderful App

This is the sort of thing I buy iPads and iPhones for. I use it all day everyday and have dedicated an iPad to this app.

Great app

Great app but I cannot find the greatest integer function button. Is it on here? If so, what symbol is used? Because I cannot find it

The best Graphing Calculator on the App Store

This is a great app. Graphs are fast. Great interface.

Great app

Now if only my teachers would allow me to take out my phone in class..😔

Best Calculator

Better than any 80$ calculator out there.

Very useful

A wonderful idea and application of graphing technology. It works well for the most part and I've never had any problems. Would like to see some added features (intergrals anyone?) though could understand why they aren't there. Overall, a wonderful addition to my iPhone.

Flaw

Calculator cannot compute nor graph negative odd roots. x^(1/n) x < 0, n is odd (i.e. (-8)^(1/3) = -2, but calculator does not say it's defined) Please fix this! Thank you!

Love it. Help?

Can't find decimal to fraction button. Please add!!

Awesome

Easy to understand. Great for Trig and Calc home work. The graphing window is easy to manipulate

Loving the Updates!

Thanks for adding new stuff with almost every update! Could add iPad compatibility!

Add please

Please add 6 more equation slots like the graphing calculator I use at school

Awesome calculator

I would just like to suggest a few new features: -The ability to trace in polar. You could use arrow buttons on the bottom of the graph to move around the cardioids, limaçons, and roses. It's hard to find the area within curves if you can't tell where two curves cross each other. -The ability to trace to a specific x, t, or theta value on the graph. The current process of doing y1(17) is a bit tedious. It could just be a new option when you double-tap on the graph. -Integrals! This might require its own specific interface though... All in all, this is a great app. I've used it and my TI-83 since trigonometry in high school. Until calculus, the only reason I used my TI-83 is because I'm not allowed to use my phone on tests. However, this app provides much of the same stuff a TI-83 or 84 calculator does, but does it much faster.

Very useful

After using a TI-83 for 9 years, this is great! Pitch and zoom graphs are incredible. With a very robust function library, this is well worth $2. Nice to see innovation in the midst of TI's dearth.

Great once started

I got my algebra 2 teacher to substitute this great app for a mandatory $120 calculator. Even it sucked that's a plus. But it is the best two dollars I have spent on the app store. It's sorta hard to get hang of, but once you do its easy peazy.

Amazing!

It's getting me through college. It could use some minor updates from time to time.

Great app!

What can I say, this has been one of the best school related apps I've purchased. I'm a visual learner and the color screen is a huge advantage when working with multiple functions at a time compared to the screen of the TI-83 my brother loaned me. Easier and quicker to use as well. This app really helped me get a great understanding of the material at a fraction of the cost of a graphing calculator. It does have limits but overall a great tool and gets better with every update.

Saved me a ton of money!

I was going in to algebra and needed a graphing calculator and found this! It works great but it could have a better look.

Doesn't work

Won't let me put in x^2 or even x and the formulas won't work for anyone in algebra 1 or 2 not sure about geometry but I imagine not

Best graphing calculator for ios!

As far as iOS calculators go, this is the best one I've seen.

Joey

You know it

crash

crash when i tried snap intersection

Great TI stand in

Have used this from algebra through pre-calc and physics. May not have solve like TI's but I believe is much easier to graph and edits graphs than a TI-84 or 89.

Well done

Was able to plot functions without having to get out my TI-83. That's saying something! Thank you!

Great!

Works as advertised. Love it!

Not bad

Still lacking some functionality of the TI-89. Does not graph 3d. I knew that buying this. It does not solve or have input fields for FFTs, laplace transformation, or matrices. The only good thing about this app is that as long as I have my phone I got a calculator. Carting around a phone I dont worry about people gonna steal my 89, but the lack of the 89 feature forces me to keep that in my bag everyday.
